Information

What?

Training every 2 weeks - with an ex british ski team coach, Racing against a dozen other universities every 2 weeks. Trip to Edinburgh with every uni in the uk, over 2500 students! Trips to the snow dome in Milton Keynes. Racing is for both skiiers and boarders and is run as a team slalom event.

Who?

Men and women, from 1st, 2nd, 3rd and postgrad students are all welcome! It's an opportunity for both Experienced skiers and those Not-so experienced. All those with 2 weeks or more experience on snow are encouraged to come along and give it a go! YOU DO NOT HAVE TO OWN YOUR OWN SKIIS OR SNOWBOARD!

When?

Racing trials will be held 6th October (Plenty time to get over Freshers Hangover). Training is held every other tuesday afternoon, on the week when the races occur. Races occur on the saturday, perfect weekend break!

How?

We all travel in a minibus, which is always a laugh, apart from the driver. All ski/snowboard hire - including boots and poles, travel, training and racing is included in the joining fee, so you'll have nothing to worry about. Other than dragging yourself out of bed in the afternoon and stumbling onto a minibus.

What else?

Socials every wednesday, with exclusivity at bars in brighton and cheap drinks deals. Freestyle training opportunity!

Finally, and i cannot stress our motto enough: "We're a drinking team with a ski problem!" Ski enthusiasts at heart, so we want to win, but it's one hell of a laugh! At the end of the day folks, it's SKIING/SNOWBOARDING, SO GET INVOLVED!
